We are hiring a Quality Inspector at our Pickering location. This position is responsible for ensuring quality is maintained and monitored in the overall production process to the standards expected by customers and Max Solutions Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify Print, Die Cut, Glued product at specified intervals where/when directed by the QA Supervisor/Manager
- Communicate quality issues and concerns to Finishing Quality Inspector and QA Supervisor/Manager
- Ensure sorted materials have been identified and flagged correctly
- Approve and sign off QA areas of selected quality documents
- Complete Certificates of Compliance for customers requiring them
- Perform sampling when required
- Communicate any shortages and late orders to QA Supervisor/Manager
- Follow up on and resolve Material Caution Flags from Printing, Die Cutting and Gluing
- Maintain and adhere to safety policies and SOP’s
- Perform other duties as required
- Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Quality position in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of the Print, Die Cut, Glue, Ship process is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions to achieve a desired goal
- Strong oral and written abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good organizational skills
- Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
