The Role
We’re hiring multiple Senior Analyst, Strategy & Operations to join our Banking team and support execution of high-impact initiatives across one of Neo’s core verticals — Lending, Deposits, Spend, Home or Memberships. You’ll work closely with experienced strategists and business leaders to turn data into insights, shape product decisions, and track the performance of our most important growth initiatives.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants to gain deep exposure to strategy, analytics, and operations in a fast-paced fintech environment. You’ll grow quickly by working alongside experienced operators while helping build the future of banking for millions of Canadians.
Team Structure & Growth Path
You’ll be embedded in a specific vertical, where you’ll focus on one key customer journey and business model. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across verticals and expand your exposure — with support and mentorship from more senior team members.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyze customer behavior, product performance, and financial data to uncover opportunities for growth, efficiency, and engagement
- Support the development of experiments, pricing tests, and strategic recommendations
- Help build dashboards, reporting tools, and tracking systems to measure the performance of new initiatives
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Marketing teams to inform decisions and evaluate outcomes
- Contribute to business cases and presentations that frame options, risks, and trade-offs
- Continuously learn about Neo’s business and the fintech landscape to deepen your strategic thinking
Who we are looking for:
- 1–3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product analytics
- Curious and motivated — you’re excited to learn and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using Excel and BI tools like Looker or Lightdash
- Comfortable interpreting data and working with SQL queries (you don’t need to write them from scratch, but you’re not afraid of them)
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across teams
