Profound Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing is an installer of heating, ventilation and plumbing systems located in Corbeil and servicing the Nipissing district in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in new house construction and home renovations.
We are looking for a Plumber Apprentice to join our team.
As a Plumber Apprentice, you will work with a licensed plumber to:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform more complex tasks like connecting water supply lines, and vent systems
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and suggest solutions based on your growing experience
- Measure, cut, and install pipes and other plumbing materials
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure that all installations meet local codes and safety standards
- Prepare work areas by gathering and organizing necessary tools and materials
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure job sites are clean and organized
- Continue learning and developing skills through hands-on experience and formal training
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Must have minimum 1- 2 Years as registered apprentice.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and materials; experience in residential or commercial plumbing is considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically able to lift heavy materials and perform tasks that require manual dexterity
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
