The 310T Apprentice will be working under an experienced 310T Journeyperson on a variety of heavy trucks and equipment. Ideally looking for a third year apprentice to join our team.
Salary: $28-$33/hr, dependent on experience

Responsibilities
- Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment
- Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
- Review work orders and discuss work to be performed with supervisor
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
- Help to maintain fleet records by recording service and repairs
- Operate or inspect fleet to identify defects or malfunctions
- Contribute in an effort to keep the shop clean and organized
- Other duties will be assigned as required
Desired Skills and Experience
- Currently enrolled in school to become a licensed 310T Heavy Truck and Coach Mechanic, third year apprentices preferred
- 2-3 years of experience working in a shop and mechanical environment is preferred
- Experience with a wide variety of hand and power tools, mechanically inclined
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be safety conscious
- Excellent team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Must obtain WHMIS, Working at Heights and Occupational Health and Safety training
