Our brands include Security Building Supplies, Madero, Penner Doors & Hardware, and Two Six Creative, with facilities in Regina, Calgary, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
Security Building Supplies in Regina has an opportunity for the right individual to join our team. This person will report to the Sales Manager.
What will you be doing?
This position is responsible for driving profitable sales and customer relationships.
- Pursue and cultivate new business while servicing and fostering our existing customer base.
- Travel in Regina and surrounding areas and to trade-shows as necessary.
- Achieve sales targets that are created with the Sales Manager and help achieve the financial targets of the branch.
- Ensure Security Building Supplies maintains its strong reputation of customer service, responsiveness, and quality.
- Gaining leads, quoting, detailing orders, follow ups, and warranty are all critical components of this position.
- Effectively represent Security Building Supplies interests when dealing with customers, employees, and suppliers.
What background will make you a successful candidate?
- Experience in lumber, building materials, and construction.
- Previous Sales / Customer Service experience required.
- A realization that customer service and relationships are a primary focus.
- Organizational skills and self-motivation are important attributes.
- Work well in supporting a team-based environment.
- Strong knowledge base of the construction and building materials industry.
- Basic computers skills are imperative; strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and email clients.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, and willing to travel and meet with customers at their locations.
- Practice safe driving.
