Job Overview
Reporting to VP/GM Sales Central Canada & US, the National Account Sales Representative is our company’s direct manufacturers representative. Maintaining relationships with established customers throughout the province of Quebec & Ottawa area. The role will also be responsible for increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, and managing the sales of our products.
The successful candidate must be driven, energetic and enthusiastic, a quick study, and eager to roll up their sleeves and delve right in. This is a key role within our organization and is well-suited for an up and coming sales professional ready for the next great step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on product knowledge, understanding and explaining products to customers
- Develop, and maintains business relationships with current customer base
- Creates new and tailor existing presentation materials to meet the customers needs
- Analyze current and future needs of each customer to recommend the appropriate products and volume, ensuring sales opportunities are maximized
- Provide management with reporting, including call reports, Budgeting/forecasts, and monthly analyses using Qlik Sense and MS 365
· Resolve customer complaints with sense of urgency, thorough root cause analysis and providing solutions
· Service Customers through selling product training and meeting customers needs
Qualifications
- Relevant post secondary education or equivalent experience
- Outside sales experience preferred in larger retail market
- Influential presentation skills with a customer service focus
- Proven track record in growing sales and maintaining and servicing customer accounts
- Valid Canadian driver’s license, good driving record maintained
- Ability to travel overnight, flights, US travel and driving up to 40,000 km annually
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory
