Job Description
We are currently hiring for our Brantford location at Rugs 4 Home. We are primarily looking for individuals who are hardworking and sales driven with extensive customer service experience and communication skills.
Prior customer service experience will be considered an asset in the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- delivering a great shopping experience
- maintaining positive customer relations
- maintaining store appearance
- efficiently hang rugs up on the racks
- properly bring rugs down in a safe manner
- be able to effectively learn store policies and communicate this to customers in a clear and polite manner
- ability to learn products, collections sizes and prices and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products
- ability to apply the knowledge learnt and communicating this to customers
- handle and rectify any complaints
- working in a team setting
Qualifications
- must be able to carry a maximum of 120 lbs
- must have a flexible schedule and working on weekends will be required
- must have great communications skills
- must know how to work and use a cash register
- must be able to open and close the store
- must have good written and verbal skills
- must know basic math
- must have good work ethic; responsible, organized and reliable
- previous customer service experience will be considered an asset
