About Us
Microheadline (微头条) is a fast-growing media platform focused on local news, community events, and lifestyle content for the Chinese community in North America. We are expanding our team and looking for talented video creators to capture and produce engaging content.
Responsibilities
- Videos of community events, interviews, and news stories
- Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for social media and news publishing
- Work with the editorial team to plan and execute video coverage
- Ensure all videos meet brand and quality standards
- Occasionally conduct on-camera interviews or live coverage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in videography, film, or media production
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
- Ability to shoot with professional cameras or high-quality DSLRs/mirrorless cameras
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is an asset, but not required
- Flexible schedule, able to attend local events (weekends/evenings sometimes required)
