Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our operational processes at Toronto Pearson Airport. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity across all departments. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Replenish inventory in all of the iStore electronics vending machines
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all processes align with company goals and standards.
- Manage inventory, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize operational performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of employees, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of efforts.
- Implement best practices in safety, quality control, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Prepare reports for senior management on operational performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within the industry.
- Strong understanding of business operations, supply chain management, and project management principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software for operational reporting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
