Job Description: Receptionist & Retail
Can you imagine a cross between Louise the Jennifer Hudson character from Sex & the City, David Rose, the Dan Levy character from Schitts Creek & Mr Humphries from Are you being Served ? This, in human form, is what we seek.
Information & Duties:
-This is a front facing position in a luxury boutique & salon, you will be standing most of the day
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments for a very busy natural hair salon , and manage the company calendar
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide accurate information about high end natural products & services offered in our retail store and 3 websites.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception & large retail store
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of the salon & retail spaces. Politeness and Accuracy in writing, on the phone and in person are imperative.
- Utilize email, booking software and shopify or similar software to manage orders, emails, and scheduling
-simple pricing, printing, labelling, filing, merchandising, gift wrapping
-Ring out sales, make change, balance cash register, wrap gifts, complete opening & closing duties
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an management of retail or restaurant, administration, medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Proficient in using booking software
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information and paperwork
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a high end customer service-oriented approach
