Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. Must have prior roll off or hook lift truck experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and the ability to perform basic automotive repairs as needed. The Roll Off Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient waste management operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Operate roll-off trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload containers at designated sites, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Perform basic maintenance and automotive repairs on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CLASS 3 or CLASS 1 ) with a clean driving record is required.
- Experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll-off or heavy equipment, is preferred.
- Familiarity with excavators or skid steer operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of freight handling and transportation regulations.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is beneficial for performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $26.11-$36.79 per hour
