You bring creativity, energy, and a passion for movement that inspires participants at various levels of ability to explore a variety of dance styles such as Line dancing, Ballroom styles, Swing, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Your ability to design choreography and lesson plans helps promote physical activity, artistic expression, and self-confidence. You foster a warm and inclusive environment that encourages participation and supports each dancer’s growth. Above all, you prioritize safety and well-being throughout every class and activity. CPR and First Aid certification are essential, and a Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required. Flexibility is important, as shifts may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
This role offers flexible, dynamic scheduling based on community demand. Compensation is based on an hourly rate which ranges from $20-$30/hr., commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Township is seeking passionate and energetic Recreational Dance Instructors to join our team at the brand-new Simcoe Woods Community Centre. The ideal candidate will have a love for dance, creating a fun and engaging environment where dancers of all ages can enjoy an active social night out with friends and neighbours.
