The Conservatory front desk administrative team is a small, dedicated group of 5 or 6 staff who collaborate each day to support our wonderful students and faculty. We are proud of the musical opportunities the Conservatory offers students of all ages and strive to provide a professional environment for each other and for all members of this special musical community! Under the supervision of the Registrar, this position requires an energetic, friendly, patient, and resourceful person to serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, clients, and faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Registration of students
- Management of student accounts (processing payments, adjusting enrollments as needed)
- Answering phones and addressing and/or directing callers accordingly
- Assisting the administrative and management staff as needed
- General reporting of student accounts and registration
- Production of signage, programs, and posters as needed
- Processing of point-of-sale items, including miscellaneous sales and Box Office tickets
- Day-end cash-out and depositing
- Practice room allocation

- Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and focused during high-volume registration periods
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Recent experience working in an educational or office environment
- Preference given to those with a post-secondary credential
- Music background and/or formal education an asset
Other:
Potential to include Front of House Coordinator shifts: managing volunteer ushers, handling ticket sales, and overseeing Venue traffic and entrance control.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
