Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Receptionist/Office Administrator for our Family Law Firm. You will manage front desk responsibilities while supporting the daily operations of the office; everything from answering calls to coordinating schedules, maintaining supplies, and keeping the office day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will be a key point of contact for clients and help connect them to lawyers and clerks.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Manage the main phone line: respond to calls and voicemails, redirect inquiries, and book consultations
- Schedule appointments across multiple lawyers' calendars
- Set up and tidy the boardroom and kitchen daily, including unloading the dishwasher and coordinating lunch orders
- Place and manage monthly orders for kitchen and office supplies
- Assist with filing, scanning documents, and forwarding client correspondence to the appropriate team members
- Coordinate with lawyers, clerks, and external vendors to support day-to-day operations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in all shared spaces
Requirements
- Must be available to work on-site, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Access to a car is required for minor office related travel
- 1–2 years of experience in an office administration or receptionist role
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to multitask and manage daily responsibilities independently
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook
- Discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
