The Resiliency Navigator acts as a support for individuals/families who are currently or could be accessing the Family Justice system regarding divorce, separation, Child Welfare, and Domestic Violence. The Navigator is a full-time (35 hour per week) position that reports directly to the RFJS Team Lead. They offer program information, resources and screening for program eligibility if necessary. The Navigator is responsible to facilitate robust conversations with individual accessing services to determine challenges and needs of the individual to reduce adversarial court processes. Navigator will provide referrals, coordinate services with community supports, provide outreach when able, completing screens, and ensuring that individuals and or families do not get lost during the referral and connection process.

Ares of Responsibilities:

· Accept incoming program referrals and/or intakes, and complete client screens

· Facilitate robust conversations to identify the non-legal family challenges where skill building is needed

· Identify appropriate referral to community supports and forward, using the established referral process

· Follow up on referrals made to ensure connections have been made

· Provide outreach when able to assist in stabilizing individuals to have basic needs met

· Create and maintain confidential, accurate, and current client records, including complete and thorough documentation for each client, in accordance with professional standards and internal policies

· Compile and enter necessary data, outcomes and documentation into data tracking systems while maintain accurate, timely and complete electronic and paper files

· Assist with community events and programs to increase awareness

· Complete reporting for program evaluation

· Assist in projects that further the vision and mission of GPFES

· Adhere to the Grande Prairie Family Education Society’s policies and Procedures

· Actively promote programs and services

Pay: $27.00-$28.00 per hour
