Radiation Technician Assistant - Full Time – $35/hour plus benefit package
- Conducting direct, indirect and dose surveys using a variety of radiation detection instruments
- Performing source checks on radiation detection instruments
- Decontamination of items & tools using proper techniques and PPE
- Performing air sampling monitoring
- Ability to record and update documentation
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of community college in a Technician or equivalent
- Between 1 and 2 years of experience in the field of radiation protection, or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles and regulations.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Organizational skills – able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
