Key Responsibilities
1. Perform daily quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards (CFIA, FDA, BRCGS).
2. Conduct line inspections, verifying labeling, packaging integrity, weight checks, metal/X-ray detection, and sanitation.
3. Support the QA team with environmental swabbing, allergen verification, and calibration activities.
4. Monitor and document deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
5.Assist in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and certification programs (BRCGS, Organic, Non-GMO, CarbonZero).
5.Maintain accurate and detailed QA documentation, logs, and reports.
6.Partner with production and sanitation teams to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) are consistently followed.
6.Participate in continuous improvement projects related to food safety, traceability, and sustainability.
