What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' mental health concerns, background, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other approaches to support clients' healing and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and ethical standards in the field of psychotherapy.
What We're Looking For:
- Current and valid Ontario licensure as a psychotherapist.
- In-depth knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to therapy.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
- Current First-Aid and CPR certification.
