Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Clinical Counselor or Psychotherapist recent graduate to help build and grow with the Rise anxiety and depression team!
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic support to adult's and adolescents, particularly in a hospital or special education setting. This role is essential in delivering high-quality private PRACTISE care.
Duties
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions for children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes for effective case management.
- Utilize medical terminology in documentation and communication with healthcare providers.
- Support families by providing resources, guidance, and psycho-education regarding their mental health.
Experience
- A listen ses professional qualified in the province of Halifax, NS.
- degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
- Previous experience working in a clinical or educational setting is an asset!
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail in documentation.
