Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals facing various psychological challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of case management, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of each patient.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy services to children and adolescents in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including case notes and treatment progress reports.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.
- Engage in data collection and research activities to contribute to the ongoing improvement of therapeutic practices.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and resources available for support.
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of psychology, particularly related to pediatrics and special education.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field with appropriate licensure (LCSW, LPC, etc.).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions.
- Familiarity with case management practices and patient care protocols.
- Ability to conduct research and apply findings to improve therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in psychotherapy.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $41,366.87-$117,123.72 per year
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
