Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health care, particularly post injury management. This role involves providing therapeutic support, conducting intakes, and working with a Psychiatrist or Pscyhologist to implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients. The Psychotherapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Duties
- Conduct intake and assessment sessions for adolescents and adults post-injury, post-concussion.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support patient progress: CBT, DBT, etc.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, including data collection and case management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, special education professionals, and hospital staff, to coordinate care.
- Engage in ongoing research to stay updated on best practices in psychotherapy and child mental health.
- Provide education and support to families regarding mental health issues and treatment options.
Skills
- Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to psychological assessments.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to mental health.
- Familiarity with special education processes and resources.
- Excellent case management skills to effectively coordinate patient care.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: $54.88-$125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
