Position: Preventative Maintenance and Installation Specialist
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job type: Fulltime
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
The impact you will have
As a Preventative Maintenance and Installation Specialist, you will leverage your technical expertise to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Arjo equipment and products directly at customer sites within healthcare facilities.
Your role is essential in ensuring that mobility solutions are functioning at their best, supporting both patients and caregivers. Through your work, you will help enhance mobility for individuals facing physical challenges, ultimately improving the quality of life for residents, patients, and those who care for them.
As the Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:
- Conduct field service operations at healthcare facilities across Ontario, with potential travel across Canada as required
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive and quality service
- Manage inventory effectively to support service operations
- Maintain accurate data records and documentation for all service activities
- Meet or exceed established performance metrics and service targets
- Oversee uncrating and assembly of equipment for new construction and redevelopment projects in Ontario, as assigned by the Manager
- Provide coverage for key vacant territories, requiring flexibility and willingness to travel
The skills you will need
- 2–4 years of hands-on technical experience delivering on-site service
- Undergraduate degree, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify customer needs and effectively recommend, promote, and sell appropriate products and services
- Strong skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical repairs
- Proficient in computer use, including knowledge of IT concepts, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to multiple customer locations, including overnight stays when required
