Bud’s Spas and Pools is currently hiring Pool Closers for the end season, running from April to November. As this is a contract position, the option to extend may be provided to those who exceed expectations, and an end of contract bonus may be provided to those who meet and exceed our measure of quality in this role.
As a Pool Closer , you will be part of an amazing team dedicated to helping those across the Greater Hamilton Area with their pool needs, and handling some of the more difficult tasks for the average home owner to complete themselves. They will need to be physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.

- G Class drivers license is a must
- Pool and spa experience is a strong asset
- Plumbing, construction and landscaping experience an asset

What We Offer:
- 19$/hour minimum starting rate, plus a cash bonus at the end of the contract for those the meet or exceed the expectations
- The possibility to extend the contract upon its completion, as well as preferred call backs for all of the 2026 season, or extension later into this season

Responsibilities:
- Execute the pool closing tasks as listed on the job sheet
- Readies all tools, equipment and products as listed on the job sheet
- Accurately manages and records all products used during installations or service calls, including the tracking of service vehicle inventory and tools and equipment used on each job
- Must be adaptable to changing service requirements and schedules
- Multi-tasks effectively as may be required from time to time to meet customer expectations
- Performs pool closings and other services that may be deemed necessary from time to time
- Be the best. We can hire anyone, but we pay to make sure that anyone that works for Buds is the best.
Requirements:
- Able to meet all scheduled shifts on time and in uniform
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Will be required to be on their feet for the majority of the day, including bending, stretching, grabbing and lifting of up to 50lbs
- Adhere to the procedures taught to them by the service manager
- A minimum of one professional reference must be provided
