Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and care of residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they remain clean, balanced, and in optimal working condition. You will work both independently and as part of a team, often on-site at client properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying baskets.
- Test and balance water chemistry using proper techniques and equipment.
- Add chemicals as needed in a safe and accurate manner.
- Clean filters and backwash systems when required.
- Inspect and report on pool equipment such as pumps, heaters, and chlorinators.
- Communicate with dispatch and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record service details, chemical readings, and performed actions after each visit.
- Identify and report any necessary repairs or hazards.
- Assist with pool openings, closings, and secure cover installations.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous pool maintenance or service experience is an asset but not required (training provided).
- Basic knowledge of pool equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and be physically active all day.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and a team player.

A professionally maintained, clean, and chemically balanced pool that is ready for safe and enjoyable use, with accurate records of service and high customer satisfaction.

- % of pools maintained within proper chemical balance
- Number of pools serviced daily/weekly
- Client satisfaction ratings and service call-backs
- On-time arrival and completion of daily route
- Accuracy of service records and reporting
