We are a busy metal fabrication shop and require an inhouse plumber / pipefitter for the following work
- gas fitting of new heating equipment such as radiant heaters and make up air units
- running PEX/AL/PEX lines for Argon and other gases
- running glycol lines around the shop. Connecting boilers, unit heater and other heating appliances
- hydro testing of welded piping assemblies
- assist with bolt up of flanged industrial piping systems
- Assembly and testing of gas fuel trains
- installation of plumbing and fixtures in new buildings
- general maintenance of piping, plumbing, fixtures, systems and other mechanical services.
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Installing pumping and Victaulic piping systems for water and wastewater treatment plants
The ideal candidate must :
- Be a journeyman plumber and certified gas fitter level B or A
- be competent in threaded piping, copper soldered piping, Victaulic, plastic, stainless steel and carbon steel piping and plumbing systems.
- be able to read building and piping drawings
- work independently with minimal supervision
- be skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- have knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
