Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for a self-motivated, professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers—greeting guests, answering inquiries, and performing a variety of general office duties. As the face and voice of our dealership, your professionalism, friendly demeanor, and helpful attitude play a key role in shaping first impressions and representing our brand in the Grande Prairie market.
Duties include:
- Greet visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Provide visitors with an exceptional customer experience by greeting each customer personally, checking them in using our concierge service, and guiding them to the right person within the dealership.
- Ensure visitors are comfortable and are attended to.
- Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including copying and scanning documents.
- Maintain and prepare meeting rooms.
- Maintain tidiness of common areas.
- Monitor inventory and order office supplies.
- Answer, forward, and screen phone calls in a professional manner.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and courier packages.
- Other duties as required.
What is required for the position?
- One year of reception/office experience preferred.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is considered an asset.
- Conscientious, thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate information accurately, clearly, and as intended.
- Accurate and efficient typing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines.
- Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and Automotive programs; PBS, Dealersocket considered an asset.
- Phenomenal interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal individuals.
- Sound, practical business judgment, and a problem-solving, client-focused, results-oriented approach.
- Excellent document creation, reviewing, and proofreading skills with a high level of proficiency related to business correspondence and communications.
- Process-oriented; superior attention to detail and accuracy.
- Results-driven and career-focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be successful.
