Summary
We are seeking an Owner Operator Driver to join our team at PATHFINDER FREIGHTLINES INC. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting goods safely and efficiently across North America, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Operate your own vehicle to transport freight across designated routes.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Manage paperwork related to freight documentation and billing.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver in the freight transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
