Overnight Houseperson

Hyatt Place Moncton is looking to immediately fill the position of Full-Time Overnight Houseperson!

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, his/her designate and Manager on Duty. The Houseperson is responsible for the following:

• Overall cleanliness of all public spaces and pool area with maintaining high level of sanitation
• Basic pool and spa maintenance
• Provide assistance to guest on safety matters
• Provide added security for hotel guests
• Monitor exterior and interior of the hotel to ensure registered guests only are permitted to access the building during overnight hours
• Follow procedures of the Hyatt Place standards for housekeeping services
• Ensure that quality and cleanliness standards are being maintained
• Perform other duties as required

SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of the operational policies and procedures of a hotel.
• 1 year janitorial experience preferred
• WHIMS training or be trained within 30 days of hire.
• Proven ability in customer service
• Required to have or obtain First Aid and CPR Training within probation period
• Able to work without supervision in a positive manner and work as an active team member
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning concepts and principles
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
• Bilingual in both official languages is an asset
• Willing to work between 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
