Availability Requirements
- Set hours: 9am –0915pm; 9pm- 0915am; except if management request for a specific schedule.
- Employee must be available/flexible for all shifts; we are NOT only hiring for night, weekdays or Weekends.
- Supervise individuals at home and in the community
- Establish a relationship to guide and support individuals through role modelling, mentorship, and positive reinforcement
- Perform routine general program responsibilities such as cleaning & organization
- Complete and maintain documentation of daily activities and observations.
- Participate in the care team through the ongoing development of care plans and programs
- Plan and accompany youths to their medical appointments
- Must be a driver with full class 5 Alberta license; you are not required to own a vehicle, but required to drive.
- Knowledge of child and youth care mental wellness practices
- Knowledge of processes and procedures for providing home care
- Trauma Informed Care practices
- At least 1 year of work experience with youths in care.
- Direct experience working with youth with complex behavioural and mental health needs
- Six (6) months+ of related experience working with youth/children
- Completion of Degree/Diploma in Human Services field
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level CPR + AED
- Police Information Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 3 months
- Alberta-based company

- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Basic food Handler certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Current driver's abstract
- Medication Administration Certificate
- Reliable vehicle and auto insurance (with $2m coverage)
- Suicide Prevention
- ASIST or START training certificate
- Mental Health First Aid
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
