Position Overview:
As a Night Shift Automotive Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles during evening hours. This shift offers a quieter, more focused environment with steady workflow and minimal interruptions. You’ll work independently while collaborating with the service and parts teams as needed. It’s a great opportunity for a motivated technician to grow their skills, earn a shift premium, and be part of a professional, well-equipped dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Ford vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot vehicle systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with service advisors and parts department as needed.
- Keep work area clean and organized and follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Automotive Technician certification (or equivalent experience).
- Ford experience or OEM training is a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.
