Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mature Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient office operations.

Duties:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department

- Show apartments to prospective tenants, take applications and complete leases.

- Collect rent from tenants monthly and call tenants for payment owing.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain a tidy and organized office environment

Requirements:

- English and French required.

previous property management experience an asset.

- previous experience with the TAL an asset.

Collection experience an asset.
- Proven experience as an Office Secretary or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- non smoking is a must

- Assertive, pro-active and team player, demonstrates leadership skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and QuickBooks software is a plus
- High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
