We are looking for a reliable, full-time Receiver and General Shop Helper to join our team at Excell Railing Systems. From our Surrey branch, we manufacture, powder coat, and ship aluminum railings across Canada and the U.S.A.
This role is primarily based in our fabrication shop and supports a variety of tasks essential to daily operations. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in their work and is willing to pitch in wherever needed across production.
Work Hours
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 2:45 pm
- Overtime and/or split shifts may be required during the busy season (including some Saturdays)
- Hours are subject to change based on production needs
Job Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Quick learner, able to follow instructions
- Physically fit, energetic, and able to lift/move materials as required
- Willing and able to work overtime during peak summer months
- Valid forklift ticket and minimum 1 year of forklift experience
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and sort incoming materials into proper warehouse locations
- Accurately pick and identify parts for the fabrication team
- Assist in buffing, grinding, and drilling aluminum posts and components as necessary
- Help prepare parts for welding and powder coating
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other general labour duties in fabrication, production, or shipping as needed
- Work independently with minimal supervision when required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
