SPECTRA is an ISO full service aluminum parts supplier with 5 manufacturing facilities in Ontario, Head offices in Bradford, and due to a new manufacturing facility opening in Bradford and promotions from within Spectra, Has an opportunity at our:
Bradford Facility for: Maintenance Administrator
The ideal candidate must have a mechanical aptitude and must be able to liaise between multiple facilities. Must be proficient using computer software, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be collaborative and detail orientated.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate between plant maintenance staff and sub-contractors
2. Facilitate quotations and delivery follow up
3. Quarterback equipment breakdown communication
4. Work with the Operations Manager to plan and prioritize plant maintenance technicians
5. Review and analyze maintenance technician reports for any follow up
6. Maintain critical parts stocking levels
7. Set up new parts and order maintenance related items using company software
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Must be able to take direction/supervision and work cooperatively with others
2. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and withstand some noise.
3. Knowledge of MS Office
4. Knowledge of office practices and procedures
5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
6. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
7. Ability to use computer and related software programs to accomplish assigned tasks
Experience & Education:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
2. Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience
