Responsibilities
- Manage booking of at least 20–30 loads per week on platforms such as DAT, Loadlink, or equivalent.
- Confirm load details (rates, pickup/delivery, equipment) with brokers, clients, and carriers—verifying accuracy within 60 minutes.
- Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality.
- Provide written updates (email/portal) and timely verbal communication with all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Minimum 2 years of direct load booking experience, specifically on load boards like DAT or Loadlink. Please list the platforms you’ve used.
- Fluent professional-level English—both written and spoken; you must be able to draft emails clearly and discuss complex load details over the phone.
- Proven ability to manage 20+ bookings per week accurately and efficiently.
- In-depth familiarity with U.S. & Canadian geography and major freight corridors.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, organized workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cross-border freight processes, customs, or import/export documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to resolve issues quickly under pressure.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills or experience managing rate agreements or freight claims.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced logistics environment.
