We are hiring creative and caring instructors to lead a variety of literacy-based programs for students in JK through Grade 5 in Toronto. These clubs foster a love of reading, build vocabulary, and strengthen spelling and language confidence through play-based and structured activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging small-group lessons and literacy games for kids
- Support children’s development in vocabulary, phonics, comprehension, and language use
- Adjust content to suit diverse needs and learning levels
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and energetic learning environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:English Teaching, English Literature, Education, Child Development, or related fields
- 1 to 2 years experience working with children is an asset
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Strong English fluency
- First Aid Certificate
- Vulnerable Sector Check
