We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for culinary excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools is preferred.
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
- Spanish language is preferable but not mandatory.
