Role Summary
Are you a music and social media lover? Cantilon Choirs is looking for a highly motivated
and resourceful individual who has a talent for creating great content. We need a fun and
strategic creator to generate strategies for key social media platforms, post original
content, and manage ongoing engagement.
Content Creator - Lead
- Work collaboratively with Cantilon team to establish a strong online presence
- Develop content strategies to promote our choirs and build an engaged online
audience
- Create a content calendar for the season
- Meet with the admin team bi-weekly (Wednesday mornings) to discuss creative
planning and implementation strategies
- Prepare reports for monthly board meetings
- Collaborate with the Assistant Content Creator to generate posts (videos, reels, and
more)
- Respond to social media users engaging with posted content in a timely manner
- Attend concerts, special events and rehearsals when possible
- Edit, collate and create videos/posts for social media with the content that has
been acquired by the Assistant Content Creator
- Process and utilize historical photos/videos (from the past 25 years) for use on
social media and special events throughout the season
- Build relationships with other arts organizations
- Interact with analytics and interpret algorithms to adjust approach as needed
- 6 hours/week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $600.00 per month
Expected hours: 6 per week
