A new initiative in the Arts, this media portal is looking for a Digital Content Curator to contribute and manage the development and curation process of content that our readers will find entertaining. Focus will be on communicative art forms and the related global personalities, performances and fashion scene of India and South East Asia.
Responsibilities:-
- Create relevant and engaging content based on topics as assigned
- Source and develop appropriate media (e.g., photos, videos, etc.) to accompany copy as necessary
- Possess great standards for research, trends, logic and language
- Enjoy interviewing and fact checking using primary and secondary resources
- Craft pieces in a voice and style relevant to the audience
- Customizing the design of the website and Instagram site, including layouts, fonts, backgrounds, etc.
- Uploading written, photo and video content to the sites and maintaining a consistent aesthetic
- Providing regular feedback on the performance of our website and social media pages
Qualifications/Requirements-
- Have any one of dance/ theatre/ storytelling/ design/ writing/ photography/ videography skills - must be able to craft short, concise, catchy pieces which may be accompanied by illustrations, photographs or video footage
- Excellent interview and curation skills
- Have an understanding of SEO and social media as well as visual communication for the digital age
- Able to meet regular deadlines while working independently
- Enjoy & have a sense of empathy for different cultures, histories and varied ideas
