We’re looking for someone who's ready to put their head down and grind, to advance in the position, learn more and eventually run their own maintenance crew.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining lawns, gardens, patios, and other outdoor spaces.
- Installing greenery such as sod, plants and trees.
- Utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete various tasks.
- Operating equipment such as lawn mowers, pressure washers, hedge trimmers, etc.
- Driving company vehicles to get from one property to another.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic repairs.
- Ensure a clean yard space through proper organization.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards as per instructed.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance is required.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively is required.
- Familiarity with basic landscaping standards.
- A G class license and a clean driving record is required.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and garden care.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team setting.
- Must be reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to quality work and efficiency.
