We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker with strong experience in electronics and electrical systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications.
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical and electronic maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment (an asset).
- Knowledge of safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with extrusion equipment is a strong asset and will be prioritized.
