Position Summary
The Junior Drafting Technician will support our engineering department in preparing technical detailed drawings for the custom refrigeration systems. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialized industry while working closely with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, revising and technical drawings using 2D AutoCAD & 3D Inventor
- Support the drafting and design process for refrigeration systems and components
- Interpret sketches, notes, and specifications to create accurate layouts
- Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency
- Follow company drafting standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Completed or currently enrolled in a drafting or engineering technology program
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Interest in mechanical systems or industrial design is an asset
