The Bloor-Yonge Capacity Improvements Project is a significant undertaking by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to expand and modernize Bloor-Yonge station – Canada’s busiest subway hub. This initiative is focused on meeting both current and future ridership needs by improving the station’s efficiency, capacity, and accessibility.
The Kenaidan Murphy Joint Venture (KMJV) is committed to transforming the station to enable faster, more reliable, and more comfortable travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The project will deliver upgraded facilities, contributing to a safer, cleaner, and higher-capacity subway system for passengers.

IT Systems Analyst - Projects:
The IT Systems Analyst’s role is to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and enterprise applications, enabling end users to effectively perform their business tasks.
How will you contribute to the team? :
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Strategy & Planning:
- Review resolutions and incident trends to recommend preventive measures.
- Alert management to emerging technical issues.
- Support Enterprise software (e.g., SharePoint, ERP) to ensure it meets business needs, user requirements, and system performance goals.
- Assist with application deployments, change control, and the development of new reporting processes and models.
Acquisition & Deployment:
- Support software releases, rollouts, and user communications.
- Assist in identifying hardware/software requirements for deployment and maintenance.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and updates clearly to stakeholders.
Operational Management:
- Respond to Service Desk requests, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Document and track user issues, escalating as needed.
- Troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and maintain knowledge of supported systems.
- Create and maintain end-user help resources (FAQs, guides).
- Monitor Enterprise systems, apply patches/upgrades, and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Research and recommend tools, services, and standards to improve reporting and system performance
Education and Experience: :
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or minimum 5 years equivalent work experience.
- Application support experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and MS SQL
- Power Platform development and management experience
- Working knowledge with (not limited to) Microsoft Platform
- Knowledge of Project Management Software like Autodesk construction cloud, Unifier, or Procore is an asset
- Familiarity with the fundamental of collaboration Portal technologies such as SharePoint
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
