We’re a growing cleaning company looking for a Human Resources professional to help us onboard a small number of new employees. This is a short-term contract position, ideal for someone with HR experience who enjoys setting up efficient systems and getting new team members started on the right foot.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle onboarding for a small group of new hires (likely cleaners and supervisors)
- Ensure proper documentation is collected (contracts, tax forms, ID verification, etc.)
- Set up employee records and help implement a basic HR file system
- Walk new hires through key policies and procedures
- Provide guidance on any basic HR compliance questions
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in HR or employee onboarding (especially in service-based industries)
- Knowledge of Canadian labor laws (or your local laws, if not in Canada)
- Detail-oriented and professional, with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and complete tasks on time
- Available to start immediately (or very soon)
Details:
- Contract position (3 months, depending on needs)
- Mostly remote, but may require occasional in-person meetings or calls
- Competitive flat fee or hourly rate (let’s discuss)
