Human Resources Administrator Responsibilities:
- Greeting associates in a friendly professional manner and serving as their first point of contact for routine inquiries, both in person and on the phone.
- Working collaboratively with Managers/Supervisors to meet their recruitment needs by: maintaining applicant flow, posting job openings internally and externally through various social media channels/platforms, pre-screening resumes, calling candidates, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks and administrative follow up with candidates as required.
- Assisting with the onboarding/orientation which includes: brand training to foster positive attitudes towards the Company’s culture and goals.
- Supporting the Human Resources Department to ensure the Company is in compliance with Health and Safety regulations by: attending and participating in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings (i.e. recording minutes); tracking injuries; data analysis; assisting with workplace accident investigations and creating/offering modified duties to injured associates to ensure a timely return to work.
- Maintaining and updating various bulletin boards to keep in compliance with brand standards, employment regulations and Collective Agreement.
- Handling administrative duties: creating and maintaining Human Resources on-line filing/record system and preparing employment verification letters, enrolling new hires in training programs, keeping a detailed training track, getting training documentation signed off upon training completion.
- Enrolling employees in the Marriott discount program, handling queries and keeping the profiles updates.
- Assisting the Human Resources team with specialized projects and corporate events.
- Coordinating locker, parking, and name badge requests.
- Maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Serving as a role model to Associates by demonstrating appropriate Marriott service behaviours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience: 1+ years administrative experience
Previous experience using Ceridian Dayforce
Education: Degree or diploma in Human Resources/Business Administration
Other Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in Hospitality/Hotel industry preferred
