Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR & Admin Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one to two years of experience in human resources roles, combined with strong customer service expertise. This role requires excellent organizational and multitasking skills to support daily operations effectively and maintain strong client relationships.
HR Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage day-to-day HR functions, ensuring smooth processes and timely execution of tasks.
- Recruitment & Onboarding – Coordinate job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientations.
- Employee Relations – Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing support on HR policies and procedures.
- HR Administration – Maintain employee records, work permits, process documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Benefits Support – Manage benefits administration and leave tracking. Be the main point of contact for employee inquires around plan specification.
- HRIS Implementation and Management – Support implementation, maintain and update HRIS as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records. Supporting onboarding with the software for field staff members.
- Prepare WorkSafeBC-related forms and reports
- Other duties as requested by CEO
Admin Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain supply inventory and storage;
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including document management, meeting coordination, and internal communications.
- Managing company’s insurance documentation and records.
- Coordinating, purchasing general administrative items.
- Coordinate with management office.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of demonstrated HR coordination or administrative experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, BC employment standards legislation, and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS management (Payworks).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, conflict management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in both English and another language (e.g., Mandarin) is an advantage.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
