We’re a busy 64-room lakeside hotel in North Nanaimo, and every single one of our rooms has a patio or balcony overlooking beautiful Long Lake. Our guests come here to relax, recharge, and enjoy the view — and we count on our housekeeping team to make their stay spotless and stress-free.
We’re proud to have a crew that sticks around (some of our team have been with us for years!) because we work hard and have fun doing it. Now, we’re looking for another awesome teammate to join us.
What the Job Looks Like
This is hands-on work, so you’ll need to be ready for things like:
- Tackling bathrooms, scrubbing tubs, and making everything sparkle ✨
- Making beds so crisp and fresh that guests can’t wait to dive in
- Vacuuming carpets and keeping guest spaces feeling brand-new
- Pitching in with your team and lending a hand where it’s needed
You’ll also chat with guests from time to time, so being friendly and approachable is a must.
Who We’re Looking For
- Someone reliable (your crew depends on you showing up!)
- A good communicator who can work smoothly with other departments
- A team player who believes everyone works together to get the job done
- Someone who doesn’t mind scrubbing, vacuuming, and shining things up — because you know the payoff is worth it
If you’ve worked at least a year in a hotel or cleaning role, awesome! If not, but you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll provide training, including WHMIS.
