We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens in our hotel. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry items meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, following proper procedures for different fabric types.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and garments according to established guidelines.
- Inspect items for stains or damages before laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning supplies and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking laundry supplies and notifying management when restocking is necessary.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
