Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team in a vibrant hotel environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, folded, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' experience.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store items according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is used safely and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies as needed.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean and launder effectively.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
