Queen's Landing is currently seeking a Part-Time Laundry Attendant to work our afternoon shift!
This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy fast paced environments and have great attention to detail.
**Please note, this position is steady afternoons. The successful candidate will be scheduled on our 2:30pm-11:00pm shift. **
What you'll be doing:
- Retrieve, sort and load laundry into washing machines
- Load clean laundry into the dryers
- Sort and folds laundry when dry
- Ensure items to be ironed are put into automatic presser machine (Niagara properties only)
- Count, sort and check laundry items to ensure proper inventory of all items
- Inspect all items for damage
- Logging information
- Monitors all machines and reports any machine breakdowns to the Maintenance
What you'll bring to the team:
- Previous experience working within a laundry or housekeeping related role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work afternoon shifts (2:30pm-11:00pm)
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Reliable transportation
