Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced laundromat environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments, ensuring that all items are laundered to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing customers with great service.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers as well as selling lotto, tobacco and convenience item.
- Attend to customers needing help in the laundromat, making change for coin op machines. Doing full laundry services, wash, dry, fold and bag.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat ensuring all equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Opening and closing of the laundromat, cash handling, counting of stock items at the beginning of and end of shifts.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry and retail would benefit but not a necessity
- Familiarity with laundering processes and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
